Forum for Selling Subway Franchises and Equipment Now Open!

I have been doing some research, trying to find where I can place an ad to sell some of my Subway restaurant equipment and came up completely empty.

There is an enormous need for a free advertising avenue to be able to post an ad selling your franchises or restaurant equipment.  I have even had many requests for people to be able to advertise their Subway related items (stores, ovens, ebooks, etc.) on this blog.

I have decided to create a forum where people can list their Subway related items for sale - FOR FREE!

The site was just launched and so far there are 2 users, including myself.  Please sign up to be a member on the forum, and better yet - post your ads for free.

I do welcome all comments and suggestions to the forum as this is certainly a work in progress.

Please assist me in becoming the #1 online source for Subway related merchandise.

Great idea! I currently own multiple Subways and I need some equipment as a back up (i.e. speed oven, POS register system etc). This is great, I tried looking for some equipments on Ebay but couldn't find one. Keep it up guys.

I know this isn't the right place for this but hoped a store owner might point me in the right direction.
My son works in a Subway and is often asked to close the store while being the only person in the shop. I'm concerned for his safety and wonder what the guidelines are for employees regarding safety. He says there was no training regarding what to do in the case of an attempted robbery and that there are no security cameras or panic buttons to contact police.
We live in a big city with an even bigger crime problem and it worries me.
Is it normal for someone to be left alone to close the store and there not be any security measures in place? Can anyone share their thoughts with me on this subject?

Many Subway owners don't train their employees about attempted robbery scenario.

Usually, I tell my employees to give them everything if that happens. But, I also don't have panic button. My store has security cameras though.

I don't keep "teenagers" alone in closing no matter what! However, if the worker is over the age of 21 then he closes by himself. But, if employee is female or teenage then he/she should not be alone in closing hours. That's my rule, but different Subway owners are differnt.

Tell your son to bring this up to the owner and hopefully owner will resolve this matter.

Thank you so much for your insight. I wish this owner would feel the same way you do about teenagers. I'm afraid if I say anything that they'll cut his hours - but at least he'll be somewhat safer. Thanks again for getting back to me and good luck with your store.

Hello, I am a new franchisee and I need help. I have two partners and we formed an LLC. I am only being allowed to sign the sublease as an individual but I want to operate the store using the LLC. How can I operate the store using the LLC and protect my self behind the shield of the LLC when the sublease and the Franchise are on my name? I also need to operate as an LLC because I have other partners. Can anyone help me with the experiences they have in LLC's or at least point me in the right direction?

All your individual rights can be assigned to the LLC to operate, but liability still rests with you. It is in your franchise agreement-only an indivdual can be a franchisee.
I am not a lwayer and am not offering legal advice
