One of my friends Subway had one light bulb not working and Field Consultant wrote down "Light bulbs in his store are not working." Not one light bulb but all light bulbs!

DA does many things behind the scene. Atleast to me, if I am going to be spending over 200k in an investment I would like to know what I am dealing with.

Subway and DAs can do whatever they want with your store, if you are under their "corrupted" radar.

Folks - if you don't play by their rules they have all the rights in the world to kick you out of their store. Now, that includes NOT buying a store within their timeframe, NOT baking breads through their guidelines, NOT keeping up with latest softwares etc etc

Many of their field reps just come to the store to write something up. They have to write bad about your store inorder to look good infront of a DA.

And last but not least, most people and therefore DA will use the system to their advantage? Guess what? If they wants to use it in their advantage, they can stick it in their ass. I don't give a rats ass.

If each and every single Subway owners will get out of this damn Subway business then damn DAs won't use the system in their advantage.

Subway is a ripoff, big time ripoff. I wouldn't be surprised if they increase their royalty fees anytime in the future. Fred Deluca is not happy with what he got and my advice to him is NOT to be greddy and let other Subway owners enjoy their profits for their hardwork.

Sorry Fayaz - Too busy to call you man, I don't have $600 per hour to pay you. You do NOT have to open up new Subway before buying existing Subways, that's BS from your damn DA office.

Subway system is OK but it's their DAs who messed up this system. Majority of the DAs are corrupted to begin with. They don't care about how much time/energy/money you spend behind this to purchase a Subway.

Fighting with them won't do you anygood as Subway headquaters only listens to DA.

I have been latest victim of DA's abuse.

(1) I was been approved for a store to purcahse and I asked for three months time in between to get approved for financing etc etc.....but I just found out last week that DA has another buyer ready to buy the store in half price than what I have offered to the current seller.

(2) I passed basic math/english test in one DA's region and then I had to relocate to different state due to Subway being available there for sale. Upon my moving I found out from DA that I have NOT passed basic math/english test. What the hell man? DA in one state tells me that I passed the test and DA in other state tells me that I haven't passed the test.

I have to buy Subway in my wife's name since they messed up my records under my SSN. I will have to wait 6 months to give the tests again. They have fricking rules of one person can not give basic math/english test for no more than 2 times a year. So, I am screwed.

My conclusion: Yes, SW does make money (not a whole lot), but you are fricking slave of this damn DA and Subway Headquaters.

There are shit load of pending cases against Fread Fricking Deluca, but who knows how many of them will win agianst him? It's one person against giant corporation.

Welcome to Corporate Amercia!

Comment on Subway Restaurant Hours

Hello, group my name is Ace and I have gone through the Subway process of purchasing a franchise I filled out my application and took the math/english test and have gone to the Subway seminar in which they informed me that I was to turn in a business plan which took 2 months and I turned it...I was called back for an interview and the approved me. So all this took 9 months to date and today i find out that i am unable to purchase an existing subway franchise. according to my local subway rep. Is it true that new Subway franchisee must purchase new Subway's before buying existing Subway locations. Any help would be greatly appreciated... I just feel that I have wasted 9 months of my life going after a dream that was never there at all..Ace

Comment on Subway Restaurant Hours

If you are going through escrow, they will make sure sales tax is paid through escrow.
